Brazilian flautist James Strauss has made a spectacular ascent in the world of classical music as a solo artist and champion of the concerto and chamber repertoire. He is the first Brazilian flautist ever to be awarded a Diplôme de Concertiste by the École Normale de Musique de Paris and was one of the very few last disciples of French Master Jean-Pierre Rampal. James Strauss is an active recording artist, having already released 10 Cds for Universal Music Group Artist.
